Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Supervisor, the Clinician
is responsible for establishing and implementing quality clinical
treatment and case management for severely emotionally disturbed children
and adolescents. Clinicians shall provide individual, group, and family
therapy as well as rehabilitative services in community’
Desired Requirements:
1. Experience in a clinical position with children and adolescents.
2. Hold a current license issued by appropriate state agency consistent
with standards outlined in the Agency’s Clinical Staff licensing
requirements policy.
3. Current Red Cross First Aid and CPR Certification.
Essential Requirements:
1. Completion of a clinical program with Masters or PH.D. in a field
of behavioral science from an accredited educational institution.
2. Hold a current registration (unless holding a license as described
below in “Desired Requirements”) issued by appropriate
state agency consistent with standards outlined in the Agency’s
Clinical Staff Licensing Requirements policy.
3. Must be physically and mentally fit to work with potentially violent,
severely emotionally disturbed children in accordance with the Agency’s
Physical and Mental Fitness Standards Personnel Policy.
4. Must possess a valid CA driver’s license and a driving record
that meets the agency standards outlined in the Agency’s Personnel
Policy; Motor Vehicle Operating Standards.
5. Must be willing to work with a culturally integrated workplace,
and be willing to respect human differences.
