DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB:

This is a new position for Willow Creek/North Valley School in Santa Rosa. We are seeking an additional Maintenance Worker. This position’s primary duties would include landscape maintenance of Willow Creek and NVS sites in Santa Rosa. Additional duties would include support to the maintenance team under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Manager.

Under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Worker is responsible for the repair and maintenance of residential, day treatment and school facilities. The Maintenance Worker is responsible to insure facilities are in compliance with agency safety standards.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must have knowledge and skill in basic landscaping, lawn care, and building maintenance including plumbing, electrical, heating and air conditioning.
Must possess basic knowledge of building health and safety code.
Must have basic knowledge of the English Language.
Must have valid California Driver’s License, Must be 21 years/older, Must be able to pass a fingerprint criminal record background clearance, Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical, Must have a DMV driving record that meets Agency Insurance criteria.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Prior work experience in a related field

HOURS: 40 hours/week; Full Time

SALARY RANGE:
$12.00—$15.10/hour Depending on experience and education/training directly related to the field
