Under the direct supervision of the RSS, RC's are responsible for the care and supervision of severely emotionally disturbed children.
   
Requirements:

1. A valid CA drivers license with insurable driving record

2. Willing to complete personal background investigation by the State of CA Community Care Licensing Division

3. Must be physically and mentally fit to work with potentially violent clients and willing to complete a health screening that includes drug and back screens. Must have unrestricted capacity to employ physical restraints techniques in a professionally safe manner.

4. Must possess basic knowledge of the English language.

5. Must be capable of obtaining Red Cross Training CPR Certification.

6. Must be capable of obtaining Red Cross Training First Aid Certification.

7. Prior residential care experience working with severely emotionally disturbed children.

8. Prior supervisory experience.

Desired:

BA degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
