  ASSISTANT EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

STATUS: AT-WILL/EXEMPT

STATEMENT OF THE JOB

Under the direct supervision of the Executive Director, the Assistant Executive Director is responsible for management and implementation of the residential treatment program for clients enrolled in Agency programs.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Directly supervises the Residential Services Supervisors, and other staff as
assigned by the Executive Director.
2. Through supervision of the RSS and SO staff assures all Residential
Counselor staff are supervised and provided sufficient training in carrying out their day-to-day responsibilities and tasks.
3. Develops, implements and maintains systems that establish a harmonious working environment that encourages employees to be creative, productive and truly interested in supporting the goals and objectives of the Treatment Center.
4. Develops, implements and maintains systems that monitor the progress of each resident, and reports behavioral changes to the clinical staff in a timely manner.
5. Develops, implements and maintains highly structured systems for the safety and security of all children in residence; and ensures that their records and files are properly initiated and maintained.
6. Represents the Treatment Center to other private and public agencies in matters consistent with the Agency’s mission.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

1. Must possess, at minimum, a Masters degree in either a Behavioral Science or in Administration from an accredited college or university and three years experience in an agency providing Human Services.
