The Principal provides leadership in the development, implementation, organization and evaluation of a comprehensive special educational program. North Valley School serves Emotionally Handicapped and developmentally impacted students and is presently certified for K-12.
Desired qualifications include a California Special Education Teaching Credential, a California Administrative Services Credential and relevant experience with a Special Education population of students.

North Valley School, a 100-student, WASC Accredited non-public school in Redding, CA serving children and adolescents with emotional, behavioral and developmental challenges, is desirous of retaining full-time Special Education teachers or part-time teachers who are interested in either job sharing or working as temporary substitutes.
Substantial paid pre-employment training is provided along with a generous benefit package for full-time personnel. Personnel associated with North Valley School collaborate closely with their Victor Youth Services associates to deliver educational, vocational, mental health and transition services to children and adolescents. All North Valley School classes are small and are staffed with a teacher, two paraprofessionals and a Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist.
