VCSS Victorville is located in the High Desert County Region of San Bernardino County, the largest County in the continental United States. The High Desert, at the heart of the County, provides main transportation arteries easily connecting beach, desert and mountain cities such as Las Vegas, San Diego, Big Bear, and Phoenix, as well as everywhere in between. Within an easy commute to all recreational activities, the High Desert is one of the few areas in California that still boasts of clean air, country living, and affordable housing.

VCSS Victorville currently serves the High Desert County Region with two site locations and 15 unique programs. We proudly serve High Desert children and families from birth to 65 years in age. We offer an array of programs including Intensive in-home and school based mental health services as well as Prevention and Early Intervention programs. One of our sites is home to a Transitional Age Youth Center and Family Resource Center while our other location offers Therapeutic Behavioral Services, Wraparound, Military Families Program, Infant/Toddler Parent Education, Like Skills, Vocational Rehabilitation for young adults, Housing Support Services, and Psychiatric Services.

Our extensive and varied services offer our staff a unique and broad work experience inspiring their growth and development within the Victor Agency. We have a highly trained and culturally diverse staff employing Clinicians, Rehabilitation Specialists, Family Facilitators, Parent Partners, and administrative staff. Our programs take a family driven and strength based team approach to serving families and offer individualized plans to meet the unique needs of our clients. We live our values and apply them in support of both our clients and each other.

VCSS Victorville emphasizes the utilization of evidence based, promising practices, and best practice treatment approaches with children and their families. It is our personal mission "to do what it takes" for each client by implementing cutting edge practices that increase the client's chances for success. These practices include but are not limited to Parent Child Interaction Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Connection Maps, Health and Wellness Plans, Vocational Rehabilitation, Aggression Replacement Training, Nurturing Parents/Fathers Education, Infant/Toddler/Preschooler Mental Health, and Co-Occurring services utilizing the Matrix Model.

It is our goal at VCSS Victorville to involve parents in the specialized services designed for their children. We do this by utilizing multiple programs especially designed by our Parent and Family advocates. Family involvement services include creating Connection Maps and helping families learn to use natural supports as well as creating moments of celebration such as annual family picnics and client graduations.

Outcome measures are an important part of evaluating service quality and client and family progress as well as providing feedback to those agencies we contract with. We constantly measure client success and achievement through client satisfaction surveys, pre and post treatment assessments, and goal achievement tracking within our VCSS database system. We monitor and make adjustments as required to perfect our techniques guaranteeing we are as effective as possible in helping our clients meet their treatment goals.
