Victor Community Support Services in Shasta County provides a wide variety of programs that serve youth and families with special needs. Located in the northern Sacramento Valley, just 2 hours south of the Oregon border, our site provides incredible views of the mountains all around. The primary focus of our program is work with individuals and families to increase their resiliency and protective factors to help prevent them from developing symptoms of mental illness and the associated negative life outcomes.
We have been serving Shasta County since 2002, and all of of our work with clients and families is on an outpatient basis and is primarily conducted in the community; in homes, schools, and offices where children and transition aged youth (TAY) and their families live and attend school. The VCSS Redding site provides much needed programming and services to underserved residents of this Northern California community.
